Kyrgyz Agrarian University
The Kyrgyz Agrarian University in Bishkek is the central institution in the
agricultural education system in Kyrgyzstan. Approximately 7 000 students and
about 600 lecturers are at the university. The faculties at the university
comprise Agronomy, Architecture, Informatics, Technology, Veterinary Sciences,
Economics and Energy. English and German languages are taught at the various
faculties.
The KAU is about to modernize its educational structure. The university
applied for membership in the International Network of Master Courses in
Agricultural Management and Rural Development and is very keen to introduce this
course.
